The Brief
We recently partnered with a long-standing customer, an award-winning accountancy firm to transform the look and feel of their new Ilkley office. From the outset, their vision was clear: to create a professional yet inviting workspace that would leave a positive impression on clients while offering employees a modern, comfortable environment to thrive in.
Our design team paid particular attention to employee wellbeing, carefully balancing functionality with aesthetics. By incorporating their brand colours into the furniture, fabrics, and finishing touches, we ensured the new space not only reflects their identity but also fosters a sense of pride and belonging among the team.
The Solution
The addition of greenery introduced a calming effect, helping to reduce stress and create a more positive workplace atmosphere.
We incorporated contemporary planters filled with a mix of clean-lined plants, not only to support employee wellbeing but also to enhance privacy between workspaces.
The customer visited our showroom and selected from our range of natural finishes for the office furniture to enhance aesthetics and compliment the greenery. With the furniture selection they were keen to explore functional product options with a twist, we did various drawings to demonstrate the visual and space saving characteristics of different product options, the customer chose crescent shaped desks which were functional, worked well in the space and are aesthetically pleasing.
The Sign
To further personalise the space, we installed a bespoke gold sign that stands out beautifully against a feature wall painted in the company’s brand colour, creating a striking focal point as you enter the office.
We proposed the use of a slat wall, which provided a practical way to zone different areas of the office without the need for any structural changes to the building. This solution maintained the open-plan layout and sense of space, while subtly defining distinct working areas and adding a modern design feature to the environment.
